Where do New CPM teachers Begin with Professional Learning?
Where do new to CPM teachers begin with Professional Learning?
Included with the purchase of your teacher edition are live professional learning events to support the implementation of the CPM curriculum. A teacher transitioning from a traditional classroom to a student-centered, problem-based classroom must make significant changes to their instructional practices. Because of this, CPM expects that teachers using the materials for the first time will attend three days (or six virtual sessions) of introductory live learning events during the summer and two all-day meetings (or four virtual sessions) during the school year combined with on-demand modules.
Teachers start their CPM implementation with the Foundations for Implementation Series. These events are available virtually, in person at select regional locations (links below), and at our National Teacher Institute .

Teachers participate in one of the following professional learning series dependent upon which series they are teaching: Core Connections or Inspiring Connections.
